I’m an ATL-based Senior Product Designer, a Design Systems Pro, filmmaker, and entrepreneur. Welcome to my story!
My name is Rene Alexander and I’m a Senior Product Designer with over 12 years of experience in designing digital products, design systems, and marketing. I pride myself on being a storyteller who enjoys creating and introducing new ideas that can transform and enrich people’s lives in meaningful ways. I have demonstrated experience working in retail marketing, e-commerce, hospitality, and the entertainment industry. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and Advertising, as well as a Master of Fine Arts in Film & TV from the Savannah College of Art & Design.
I am currently a Design Systems Manager and a Product Designer at Fox, helping to build new features and integrate Design Systems across our digital portfolio and video streaming apps. As a Design Systems Lead, my focus is to help drive the vision for our UX teams to establish our design systems and maintain libraries in Figma that ensure consistency and efficiency of visual styles and UI components so that we can continue to create remarkable products that make an impact.
It is my daily goal to be a better designer, succeed in my career and meet the needs of the industry. I'm excited to explore opportunities where I can expand my knowledge and provide my best work. It is my intention to always be an asset - whether for an organization or even in my personal relationships. Giving, designing, and creating are my passions.
